Who runs this site

Partners is operated by Business Intelligence Partners s.r.o., with registered office at Vajnorská 94, Bratislava, Slovakia. We are the data controller for any personal data processed through partners.sk. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

What we collect

Two things, both at the lightest level we can run on.

Analytics. We use PostHog (self-hosted via our own subdomain w.partners.sk) to understand how the site is read: which pages people land on, which they share, which they ignore. PostHog is currently configured in opt-out mode, so no events are captured by default and most visits produce no record. If you opt in (we have not yet shipped an in-page banner — opt-in is a planned addition), each subsequent visit would produce a record of the page URL, the referring page, the browser type, the country, and an anonymous session identifier. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other identifying data through analytics. We are explicitly running PostHog in identified_only mode, which means no profile is created unless a person actively identifies themselves to us (which they cannot do via this site, because there is no login).

Booking requests. If you book a sprint discussion through the calendar link in our CTA, you are sent to Microsoft Bookings (outlook.office365.com). That booking goes through Microsoft, and is governed by Microsoft's privacy policy. We receive the name, email address, and any notes you choose to share. We use that information only to prepare for the call and to follow up. It does not get sold, shared, or combined with anything else.

What we don't collect

No tracking pixels from advertising networks. No third-party social-sharing scripts. No fingerprinting beyond what the basic PostHog session identifier produces. No analytics on private browsing modes are persisted beyond the session.

Lawful basis

For analytics, we rely on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The interest is understanding which of our writing is read and which isn't. Operating a business website without that signal is operating it blind. The processing is minimal, the data is aggregate, and you can opt out (see below).

For booking requests, we rely on your active consent (you click the calendar link) and on contract preparation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The request is a step toward a possible engagement.

Retention

Analytics records are retained for 24 months and then aggregated into longer-term traffic patterns. Booking-request data is retained for the lifecycle of the engagement plus 36 months for accounting and audit obligations, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, the right to ask us to correct it, the right to ask us to erase it, the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Slovakia that authority is the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Opting out of analytics

Analytics is currently disabled by default on this site — PostHog is initialised in opt-out mode (opt_out_capturing_by_default: true), so no events are captured unless you actively opt in. We have not yet shipped an in-page opt-in banner; that is a planned addition. If you previously visited the site while analytics was enabled and want any associated records purged, write to [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We will note any material change at the top of this page with a fresh date. The current version is dated 2026-05-21.
